Two influencers each from Germany, Slovakia, the Czech Republic and Hungary took up the challenge "Beat the Challenge 2021" and fought for the country victory. It was not made easy for them, because in six challenges in the six Lower Austrian tourism destinations, the participants had to face fast-paced, tricky, creative and sporty tasks. They had to cross Lake Lunz in the Mostviertel, they went on a creative "scavenger hunt" along the Danube Cycle Path, searched for the most beautiful "Stories from the Vienna Woods", chased after dreamlike, historical postcard motifs in the Vienna Alps, determined the winner in an exciting "Wine and Crime" experience in a Weinviertel wine cellar and contested an action-packed key hunt on a course at the Dobra Reservoir in the Waldviertel.

The teams were perfectly equipped for this challenge by the brand partners Schöffel (Team Germany), Alpine Pro (Team Slovakia and Team Czech Republic) and Decathlon (Team Hungary).The mobility partner of Beat the Challenge was Opel, which provided the latest vehicle models to ensure that the teams could travel from challenge to challenge as quickly and safely as possible.
