تتميز مدينة هالشتات النمساوية بكثرة السياح من كل أنحاء العالم، وذلك على مدار السنة، بسبب وفرة المرافق السياحية بها، من معالم وفنادق وأنشطة متنوعة بين التزلج والصيد والتنزه، وسط مناظر خلاّبة لا نظير لها.
