AMERICAN PARENTS ARE IN EUROPE!! After picking them up at the Nuremberg Airport, we headed down from Germany to Austria. We stayed the night in Salzburg and woke up early to experience Austria's STEEPEST COG RAILWAY. The Schafbergbahn has been running from St. Wolfgang since 1893. The train takes 35 minutes to cover a total distance of 5.85 kilometers, rising 1190 vertical meters. We had a memorable experience, but were a bit bummed the clouds covered our view of the Austrian Alps at the top.

After tasting some strong cheese and getting some pea soup, we made our way down to take the ferry from St. Wolfgang to St. Gilgen. The lake was some of the clearest we've seen and Willa had a blast cuddling up with her grandma and papa. :) We ended our time in in Austria exploring Salzburg Aldstadt (the old town center).
