On 27 May, I went around Vienna Austria and then at around 20:15, I took the ÖBB train from Vienna to Bratislava. I technically only have 12 hours in Vienna despite me landing in Vienna at 7:00, since I wasted around an hour eating breakfast and putting my luggage in the locker, so when I was able to get out of the Hauptbanhof train station, it was around 8:15 in the morning. I slept in Bratislava since the Bratislava hotel only costed me $65 plus a $12 train ride, while hotels in Vienna cost upwards of $85 for a decent quality hotel on the day I booked (like Ibis Wien Messe, Wien City, etc), and plus, since Bratislava is underrated (that was not my first time to Slovakia however), I decided to visit Slovakia and see its capital for a bit. In Vienna, even though I was tired due to train lag (I only slept 5.5 hours between 12:30 and 6:00 and basically entered non-REM sleep when the train decoupled somewhere around the Czech Republic and split in two with one going to Budapest and the other going to Vienna), I managed to hit a bike ride around Vienna, touching Hofburg, Maria-Theresa Square, the Danube River, and went to Mozarthaus Wien, Saint Stephen’s Cathedral (Stephansdom), the Schönbrunn Palace, Prater to ride the Sombrero and the VR ride, went to the Hundertwasserhaus after dinner at an Austrian restaurant, the Johann Strauss Statue at the Stadtpark, and then stopped by the Karlskirche while in Vienna, just before I went on a train to Bratislava. Sorry, the Mozart statue is not in the Stadtpark, but a km away, so I was wrong for saying that in the video. Also, it was kind of sad that I missed the Vienna Opera House, the Hofburg, and Belvedere castles during this trip, but next trip, maybe I could include those tourist destinations.
