The 15th district of Vienna isn't exactly known for its elegance. Incomes are below and crime is above average. There's no royal flair; instead, you'll find scenes from everyday Viennese life. Neither Empress Sissi nor Emperor Franz would have chosen to live here. But the district does have some highlights and occasionally achieves worldwide fame: next time will be when the Eurovision Song Contest 2026 takes place in the Stadthalle Wien, which is Vienna's biggest event hall and located in the 15th district.
