Russia, Egypt, Germany, America, Austria, and Spain embark on a journey to the Scottish Highlands.

(I’m an Egyptian exchange student from AUC who studied a semester in 2021 at the University of Edinburgh.)

Because we didn’t have a car, we took many busses and trains, walked a lot, and stayed in random hostels. We also had to hitchhike at one point. Still, it was worth it and more adventurous. 100% recommend.

Also shout out to the the lovely bus driver who took all 6 of us after we hiked for at least 5 hours and had no ride back.
And shout out to the lovely couple we met on our way to fairy glen, who gave us chocolate bars, water, and offered us their bathroom.
Shout out to the Fat Panda at Portree for feeding us Chow Mein. (Diana and I recommend).
And finally, thank you Freya, Lucia, Diana, Laura, and Rachel for making this trip memorable and magical. I love and appreciate you.
