Set on natural steep cliffs, both Amalfi and Positano are some of the most popular tourist destinations in Italy. These two towns are particularly famous among American tourists and each year, more and more young Americans come to visit Amalfi and Positano. Also, Amalfi and Positano are perfect honeymoon destinations and every year 100s of couples get married in these coastal towns - no wonder why the towns are extremely expensive. But if you plan an Italy tour, especially South Italy, Amalfi and Positano deserve to be on your itinerary.
