Austria mobilized its militia for the first time since World War II, Monday, May 4, to help fight the new coronavirus as the country eases its lockdown measures.
Militia members are going to be trained and deployed around the country to secure borders, carry out health checks and protect assemblies.
The decision came after Austria lifted its lockdown measures, Friday, with heavy restrictions.
