Hey there and welcome to my channel.

This is video number 3 on my Armenian journey. As I managed to rent a car, I decided my first trip to be a very short one. Only 21 km from the city center of Yerevan to be more exact, is the holiest place in Armenia, Etchmiadzin. Here is the residence of the head of the Armenian Apostolic Church, the Catholicos. I got to see and explore not only the touristic places, but also random spots inside the city; multiple churches and abandoned buildings. The day ended with a trip to the Zvartnots Cathedral, or the ruins of it, again an important place in the national history of the country.
