Austria Tyrol mountain wilderness has been documented on frequent occasions. The town of Innsbruck is the capital of Tyrol.
The state of Tyrol is separated into two parts, divided by a 20-kilometre wide (12 mi) strip. The larger territory is called North Tyrol (Nordtirol) and the smaller area is called East Tyrol (Osttirol). The neighbouring Austrian state of Salzburg stands to the east, while on the south Tyrol has a border with the Italian province of South Tyrol which was part of the Austro-Hungarian Empire before the First World War. With a land area of 12,683.85 km2 (4,897.26 sq mi), Tyrol is the third-largest state in Austria.
To the west it it is bordered with Austria s smallest province Vorarlberg. There are also borders with Switzerland.
The capital, Innsbruck, is known for its university, and especially for its medicine. Tyrol is popular for its famous ski resorts, which include Kitzbühel, Ischgl and St. Anton. The largest town in Tyrol is Innsbruck.
I grew up in Tyrol where my parents worked during my adolescent years.
Tyrolean girls are very beautiful and have much in common with their Italian counterparts.
After the 1st world war many Italian families moved to Tyrol, and as a result there is so much Italian mix in Austria today.
The pristine beauty of Tyrols mountains can be seen here in the following video.
In winter it is a ski paradise. Ski resorts can be found everywhere here.
In German it is called Tirol. Austria tourism is incomplete without a visit to Tirol. The Austrian alps are here as beautiful as it can get.
Higher up the mountains one can find the wilderness . No Europe trip is complete without a visit to the alps
