We did a roadtrip in Europe during COVID-19 with 8 persons in a bus. At first, we wanted to go to Norway in July, but Norway was in quarantine. So we decided to go to Austria one day before we left and decided to choose our next destinations depending the severity of COVID-19 affected area. We took along winter clothing, swimsuits, pants and shorts, underwear and PJ’s. We had bags with shoes; sturdy shoes, Crocs, flip-flops, water shoes. Disinfectants and masks. No snow boots. You have to compromise, right?
We also carried boxes with food, homemade and frozen enough to keep us stuffed for a week, and canned and fresh food. After all, we didn’t know if restaurants would be open or willing to seat our family of 8 persons. Picnic table and fishing rods, we were going to be independent and Corona-proof!
