Why is it so hard to find a restaurant in Hallstatt, Austria at this time? I've been questioning where the locals here eat. Or do they just not eat out?

Fact: So far, I’ve only experienced this in Hallstatt. In Vienna, there are plenty of restaurants and bars open late. I’m not sure about other places. Do you know?

P.S. In this video, I wanted to try char fish, one of the local specialties of Hallstatt. All the restaurants we went to were closed, so we ended up eating at the only street food stall that we saw in this village.
