Vienna is hands down one of my favorite cities to visit in Europe at Christmas ???????? The markets, the decorations, the food, everything is just so magical ???? Just make sure to skip the weekends as they tend to be insanely crowded! ????‍♀️

If you’re planning a trip, these are the markets you definitely can’t miss:

???? Rathausplatz – The biggest and most famous one, always busy but still worth visiting. Don’t miss the flying heart above the square!
???? Schönbrunn Palace – This is my current favorite! Beautiful backdrop, amazing stalls, a cute Ferris wheel, carousels, and an ice skating rink.
???? Belvedere Palace – It’s a smaller market but the palace reflections make it so dreamy, and it’s usually less busy.
???? Karlsplatz – More artsy and unique, great if you want something different.
???? Stephansplatz – Perfect stop while exploring the city centre, although it’s always super busy. Not my favorite but the setting is really picturesque!
