Austria truly has the finest snowfall I had ever experienced and offers one of the most ski-friendly options in terms of proximity to accommodation.

I stayed directly opposite the ski slopes in Reither Kogel - Reith im Alpbachtal.

A huge plus are the sights of Austrian Alps — to be honest, having seen the Slovenian and Swiss Alps, Austrian Alps are truly another wonder to marvel at. Simply beautiful snow-capped mountains to see all around the country!

And to top to off, it was here in Austria I finally mastered the skiing technique after multiple failed attempts through the years. It was truly a magical and exhilarating experience to be able to ski down the slopes at speed!
