Historians Günter Bischof and Peter Ruggenthaler discuss their new book, Austria and the Cold War: A Balancing Act between East and West. One of the first surveys of Austria's experience in the Cold War in recent years, this timely study focuses on politics, economics, culture, and society in a country that had to chart a path between East and West in this tumultuous period.
