This driving tour takes you through some beautiful and charming Swiss villages along the shores of Lake Lucerne. Enjoy a road trip in light rain through the famous villages like Weggis and Vitznau at the foot of the Mount Rigi in the heart of Switzerland.

Weggis is a municipality in the canton of Lucerne. The village is located on Lake Lucerne, at the southwestern foot of Mount Rigi and is known for its mild climate. Numerous southern plants thrive here (chestnut trees, palms, grapes and orchids).

Vitznau is a municipality in the canton of Lucerne. In the 19th century it became a popular destination for tourism. In Vitznau starts one of the mountain railroads that lead to the top of the Rigi.

Küssnacht am Rigi is a village and municipality in the canton of Schwyz. It is located at the foot of the Rigi between Lake Lucerne and Lake Zug. According to the legend of William Tell, the hero shot the Austrian bailiff Gessler with his crossbow in the Hohle Gasse near the Gesslerburg.
