China's economy is now back on track following the pandemic but how have views on China changed? In this edition of the Hub with Wang Guan, Ciprian Farkas, Mayor of Sopron, in Hungary, gives his perspective on cooperation with China. He tells Wang Guan that Sopron pins hope on China's growing global contribution and that his city can provide a logistics platform of choice for trade and investment. He is also looking forward to welcoming more Chinese tourists in this medieval town. Wang Guan also talks to Joy Chen, an entrepreneur and former Deputy Mayor of Los Angeles, and asks her how Asian Americans can better adapt culturally and break through the glass ceiling of U.S. society. Chen says that China-U.S. ongoing tensions are concerning and worrying and warns of the negative consequences. She calls for better mutual understanding and cooperation on areas of mutual interest to rebuild trust.
