Innsbruck at Christmas time? YES!
This was our last stop on our "Chasing Christmas" tour of European markets and what a great choice. We devoured raclette, walked through medieval cathedrals and alleyways, went to the top of a mountain on a sunny day. An incredible ending to an extraordinary trip.
Enjoy our Christmas 4K walk-through of Innsbrucke Austria!

WONDER WHAT "INNSBRUCK" MEANS?
Innsbruck is derived from the German words "Inn" and "Brücke", which mean "Inn" and "bridge" respectively. Therefore, the translation of Innsbruck to English is "Bridge over the Inn River". The city is named after the bridge that crosses the Inn River, which was an important trade route throughout history. The Inn River continues to flow through the city today and is a major landmark and attraction for visitors to Innsbruck.
