About the Video: Dachstein in Hallstatt, Salzburg, Austria is one of the most dramatic and beautiful places in the Alps Mountains. In fact, this is the most visited tourist destination in Austria - other than its capital city, Viena. It has several activities to offer - from immature and enthusiasts to extreme sports lovers. In summer, this is a paradise for trekking, rock climbing, paragliding, rappelling, bouldering and hiking. And, in winters a paradise for skiing. The place is family-friendly and there is something for everyone. Dachstein is easily accessible because there are buses the ply from Hallstatt to Dachstein.

Hallstatt is one of the most beautiful places to visit in the world. This travel destination is ideal for solo travelers, family holidaymakers, friends and honeymooners. Hallstatt is the oldest salt-mining village in the world, dating back to 7000 years. Also, the beautiful Alps Mountains that surround the village and the lake make the village even more beautiful. Many people include Hallstatt in their bucket list to visit. Hallstatt's tourism began in the 19th century but greatly increased after it was named a UNESCO World Heritage Site in 1997. In 2006, it became a popular tourist destination among Asians - after being featured in a South Korean television show. In 2011 tourism estimates were just over 100 per day - whereas, in 2020, it grew to nearly 30,000 tourists per day.
