DASKA Aerial view of Daska City District Sialkot Punjab Pakistan with Travel Escapes 4K 60fps UHD Daska( Punjabi ڈسکا; Urdu ڈسکہ), is a megacity in the Punjab fiefdom of Pakistan. The megacity is the capital of Daska Tehsil, one of four tehsils of Sialkot District. It's the 50th largest megacity of Pakistan by population. It's 29th largest by population in Punjab.

Daska was innovated during the reign of Shah Jahan, and was originally named Shah Jahanabad, according to Mughal profit records. It was latterly renamed Daska as it's das(" ten") koh( Mughal unit of distance) from Sialkot, Pasrur, Gujranwala, and Wazirabad. During the Afghan Durrani irruption of the 18th century, Daska was ruined and its occupants forced to seek sanctum in the near mudfort of Kot Daska. Daska was latterly repopulated during the Sikh period. Daska was captured by Ranjit Singh in 1802 and made part of the Sikh Empire.

20th century

In 1929, Daska was the point of Hindu- Sikh screams when Akali Sikhs tried to seize control of Gurdwara Sant Wayaram Singh. The original Hindu community claimed it was erected to be a dharamsala.

In August 1947 5000 deportees from girding areas gathered at Daska Camp for two weeks before being attended to the Indian border by the Pakistani service.
