Over the past 600 years, Chinese have been documenting their fishing experiences in the South China Sea. Gang Lu Bu, also known as the Fishermen’s Bible in the South China Sea, recorded the climate conditions and best fishing routes, and helped seamen avoid typhoons, storms and pirates.
