Vienna, the capital of Austria, is located east of the Danube. It owes its artistic and intellectual heritage to its inhabitants, including Mozart, Beethoven and Sigmund Freud. The city is also famous for its imperial palaces, including Schönbrunn Palace, the summer residence of the Habsburgs.
Lower belvedere and baroque garden.

While the Upper Belvedere was used for the performance, the Lower Belvedere was the residence of Prince Eugene. Three large terraces and pools connect the Upper Belvedere to the Lower Belvedere. Originally, the private garden was reserved only for the master of the house and his friends. The Alpine Garden, in the castle park, is the oldest in Europe.
