We stopped in Udine in the Friuli-Venezia Giulia region for the night on our way through Italy. I was surprised by how charming this place was and I am glad we took our time on this trip to take a breather in Udine. When we think about Italy, we mostly just think of Rome and Venice. This serves as a great reminder that there are so much more beautiful places left to discover all over the country. If you have more recommendations, please share them in the comments!
