Europe Bicycle Tour- Brussels to Venice

Summer 2019.We traveled with our fully loaded bicycles fom Brussels to Venice to accomplish our second self supported bicycle tour. It took us 17 days (15 cycling days) to cover 1400 km. and to cross 7 countries.

Our journey started from Brussels south Charleroi airport on 30 july 2019. We crossed Belgium through Namur, Dinant, Arlon and on 2/8 we arrived in Luxemburg. Next stop Saarbrucken in Germany and on 4/8 at night we were in Mutzig a small village in north-eastern France. We follow the Alsace wine route to end up in Colmar. Our journey continued in Switzerland. 6/8 Basel and 7/8 Zürich where we had a rest day. We crossed Alps through San Gotthard Pass (2106 m.) and on Sunday 11 August we were in Lugano. The last part of our tour was Italy. Como lake, Bergamo, Verona and finally after 17 days we arrived in Venice on 15 August.
