Alpine descents are a huge part of Alp culture. After the livestock have grazed for 4 months high in the alps, they are brought down for winter. These traditional festivities take place across the alps. The 7 Alpine countries Austria, France, Germany, Italy, Slovenia, Switzerland and Liechtenstein all have their own unique festivals to celebrate during the fall.
