After spending our first few days in Austria checking out Salzburg and Hallstatt, we resumed our road trip through the alps. We stopped at several different areas to go on hikes and get into the mountains. It was such a different experience hiking in Austria than back home in Alaska. There were cows everywhere and it seemed like there was a restaurant at the top of every mountain. Since we were so close to Germany while in northern Austria, we stopped by a couple of beautiful spots in Germany as well. We went to an amazing canyon and then stopped at Lake Eibsee for a refreshing swim. Austria was certainly an amazing country to roadtrip through!
