Georgia Pavilion at Expo Dubai is a manifestation of ancient culture and heritage. The pavilion focuses on traditional winemaking, the Georgian alphabet, sustainable tourism and various business opportunities that stem from Georgian culture/heritage.
The Pavilion highlights not just the mobility of culture but also the unique opportunity Georgia presents as a regional hub of trade and logistics.
Georgia, a country at the intersection of Europe and Asia, is a former Soviet republic that’s home to Caucasus Mountain villages and Black Sea beaches.
A replica of Svaneti’s UNESCO-recognised Koshki tower, one of the symbols of sustainable tourism. The Georgian alphabet, is a 'living culture of three writing systems' and is in the UNESCO list of Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity. There are 33 letters in the modern Georgian alphabet; 5 vowels and 28 consonants with no capital letters and each letter is pronounced exactly as it is written.
As a country at the heart of the crossroad between East and West, the histories of Georgia's famous sites and traditions are interwoven with the histories of many different cultures, yet Georgia has always remained distinctly itself.
