The Burgruine Heimenburg (or "Ruin Heimenburg") is the ruin on a hill above the city of "Hainburg an der Donau", in Lower Austria.

The ruin is located in the very eastern part of Austria, right next to the border to Slovakia (just a few minutes by car). It can be easily accessed from a parking spot nearby. It is a nice travel destination, especially for families with kids, since it is very easy to reach - just a 15-20 minute walk from the parking spot in Hainburg city.
