It is a country many have heard of for diverse reasons, yet it doesn’t pop at the top of the list for a lot, but we are here to change that. Even if you are going on your honeymoon or if you are a classical music aficionado, or a history and culture buff, there’s plenty to enjoy and experience in this breathtaking country.

Let’s start at the obvious place; Vienna. A city so beautiful, just taking a cab from the airport to your hotel will make you feel like you are on a scenic city tour. That’s the allure of Vienna. So let’s start with the Vienna Hofburg, the Imperial Palace. This ancient palace now homes 5 world-class museums amongst other things. The crowds do gather here, but it will not rob you off of being dazzled by what’s around you. Then there’s Altstadt Salzburg – the birthplace of the music prodigy Mozart, if you are a connoisseur of the classical music, you won’t miss a visit here, but even for other travellers, there’s much to see, you can enjoy a stroll down the most scenic and structurally decorated pedestrian streets of Vienna and enjoy exploring the quirky shops that sell folk costumes and antiques. Yes, there is much to enjoy at Vienna, the whole city is full of imperial splendour waiting to be explored.

For all you adventure and nature lovers, Skiing is something of a beloved sport that you should experience, even once and Kitzbüheler Horn mountain is the place to start. The air is crisp frozen, and the route is just a white carpet, it is truly a white wonderland. Then, of course, there is the Krimmler Achental- the longest and highest located valley, it also has the most stunning rugged routes leading to the most striking open spaces along with the beautiful Krimml falls. And finally the Eisriesenwelt - the world's biggest ice cave with a number of fascinating ice sculptures.

No matter what kind of traveller you are, in Austria you are always spoilt for choice! So as for your Post-COVID holiday plans, maybe put Austria all the way to the top.
