The houses of Hallstatt, a small community on Lake Hallstatt, are picturesquely embedded in the mountains. Tourists from all over the world come to Hallstatt to see the most beautiful lake village in the world in Austria. The world cultural heritage Hallstatt, photographed a million times, and is located in Upper Austria in the Salzkammergut region and is only approx. 80 kilometers from Salzburg. In winter 2019, a fire destroyed a small part of the historic old town. Fortunately, we was able to saw this beautiful place before the fire in autumn. Hallstatt even has a replica in China. Chinese architects were so enthusiastic about the community in Austria and faithfully reproduced Hallstatt in China. The replica of the city had no disadvantage for the real Hallstatt. On the contrary, the number of visitors has skyrocketed in the recent years and most tourists come mainly from Asia. Accompany us through the historic old town and enjoy the view over the rooftops of Hallstatt.
