By Train: From Salzburg Hauptbahnhof take a train to Attnang-Puchheim, the journey takes approximately 40 minutes. At Attnang-Puchheim, transfer to the local train towards Stainach-Irdning. The train journey from Attnang-Puchheim to Hallstatt takes around 1 Hour.

By Car: Salzburg to Hallstatt is approx 80 km, and the drive takes about 1.5 to 2 hours, depending on the traffic and road conditions.
