Hallstatt can be reached by train 3 hours from Vienna, the capital city of Austria. Best time to visit Hallstatt is Summer from June till early October. Most of the tourists who visit Hallstatt are from asian countries like China, Taiwan etc as a full scale replica of Hallstatt is built in China at Huizhou, Guangdong.
