Best views guaranteed – this is one of the most impressive mountain tops with a 360° unobstructed view over all lakes in the Austrian area “Salzkammergut”. This area is known for its amazing lakes embedded in a fantastic mountain panorama.

Fun Fact: as it is the month of May, you can see this tree at the mountain top which was brought there due to the tradition in Austria of "Maibaum Aufstellen" - Maypole.

From the top of the Schober Mountain at a height of 1,328 meters you can see Irrsee, Mondsee, Attersee, Wolfgangsee and Fuschlsee. From the 2nd peak which is called “Frauenkopf” you can catch an even better view of the lake Fuschlsee which is home to the Red Bull Headquarter.
