Hiking in Hallstatt is a must to be able to have a good view of the Hallstatt town, lake and mountains in Dachstein Salzkammergut. No matter which direction you look, each view is just breathtaking! The historical Soleweg (brine trail) is widely known as one of Austria’s most beautiful trails. There is also a Panorama trail going to Salzberg (salt mountain) with picture perfect views. With around 164 hiking hiking routes in Hallstatt, there are plenty of options for outdoor enthusiasts and nature lovers.
