The Hinterer Tajakopf is a mountain, 2,408 metres high, in the Heart of Mieming Range in the Austrian state of Tyrol.The summit view from here is interesting for a reason. You look at the surrounding giants and enjoy their wildness and at the same time appreciate the deep view of the lovely valley grounds with seebensee and drakensee in the backdrop. Facing the Mieminger main ridge in the north, the mountain rises between Wetterstein and Mieminger chain and you are truly in the middle of this spectacular rock landscape. West of the summit, at just over 2300 m, there are remains of an abandoned mine. In the area around the Coburger Hütte, partly until the 20th Century lead-zinc ore were mined here.
