Forchtenstein Castle is a castle built in the Late Middle Ages near the municipality of Forchtenstein in northern Burgenland, Austria.

Forchtenstein Castle has one of the largest medieval military weapons collections! The castle itself is well-preserved and tours of the rooms are great. There is also a restaurant on-site so you can have a nice meal while waiting for your tour to begin or afterwards. Unless you have a car, the castle is not accessible from the nearest train station, you would need to take a taxi up the hill to the castle.
