Museum of historical cars of Iran; From the display of the Benz donated by #Hitler to the one-seater car of the then Crown Prince

At one time, the #Iranian_royal family was interested in #German_cars, for this reason, in 1972, on the occasion of the 12th birthday of #Reza_Pahlavi, the then crown prince, #Mercedes, #Porsche and #Volkswagen companies came together to produce a car named "MPV Tehran" and as Give a gift to the Crown Prince of Iran so that he can learn to drive with it.

This orange one-seater car has two keys: a silver one that allows the car to move at a speed of 30 km/h and a golden one that increases the car's speed to 170 km/h.

This car has remained motionless since the Iranian revolution in 1357 and has recently been exhibited to the public in the museum of old cars in Tehran.


This museum was opened a month ago by the Foundation of the Oppressed, which had confiscated the property of the officials of the previous regime.

In this museum, 55 cars, two carriages and four motorcycles are displayed, one of which belongs to #Farah_Diba, the last queen of Iran.


Another hundred vehicles are still in storage being restored to one day be displayed in museums.

Perhaps the jewel of the museum can be called the Pierce-Arrow American Model A (A), which was produced in 1930 and was the most expensive car in the United States at that time. At that time, Reza Shah bought this car for 30 thousand dollars.

In this issue, several models of Rolls Royce cars, including the Rolls Royce Silver Ghost owned by #Ahmad_Shah_Qajar, have been exhibited.

Another car that has attracted the attention of visitors is the #MercedesBenz_k500K Autobahnkurier produced in 1934, which was a gift from Adolf Hitler to #Reza_Shah Six units of this car have been built in the world, five of which were destroyed during World War II.

The royal carriage of #Naseruddin_Shah_Qajar, known as the oldest carriage in Iran and made in Austria, is exhibited in this museum.
