The Lammeröfen or Lammerklamm are located in the state of Salzburg
The Lammerklamm demonstrates the imposing power of nature. The narrow valley was carved out by glaciers during the Ice Age (approximately 15,000 to 30,000 years ago), while the masses of water released by the melting ice left behind a narrow gorge flanked by steep cliffs. The Lammer river gorge is one of the most impressive natural wonders in all of Salzburger Land.
