If you are living near the Bodensee region, you don't want to miss out the bike ride from Lindau to Bregenz and Pfänder.

I would strongly recommend bringing E-bikes rather than normal bikes to the Pfänder for the bike tour. We rented the E-bikes from Linda-Insel : Fahrradverleih RadInsel (www.radinsel.eu) which costed around 25 Euros for each bike. The owner is very friendly and flexible with the timings. The other way to reach Pfänder is by the Pfänderbahn (Rop-way).

According to the locals, the view from the top of the Pfänder depends on the weather. In a sunny day with the clear sky, you get the beautiful view of the Bodensee and Lindau from the top. In a cloudy day, you may find yourself floating in the sky because you will be above the clouds :D (1064 m) and this view is worth it.

Due to COVID restrictions, please take care of the cross-country borders and should not go too much inside the Austria. Keep it casual at the borders ;)
