Kava is a beautiful green-land surrounded by mountains all around and it's nearby the Malampuzha dam. Kava is located in Palakkad district. 13 km from Palakkad town, towards Malampuzha dam road and Anakallu road.

പാലക്കാട്‌ ജില്ലയിലെ മലമ്പുഴ ഡാമിന് പിറകിൽ കാണുന്ന മലനിരകളുടെ താഴ്‌വരയിലെ ഗ്രാമം ആണ് കവ. ആനക്കൽ എന്നും അറിയപ്പെടുന്ന ഈ സ്ഥലം മലമ്പുഴ വരുന്നവർ കാണാതെ പോകരുത്. പാലക്കാടിന്റെ വ്യത്യസ്തമായ ഒരു പ്രകൃതി ഭംഗി ആസ്വദിക്കാനും, ഡാമിന്റെ വൃഷ്ട്ടി പ്രദേശങ്ങളും, മനോഹരമായ #sunset കാണാനും നിരവധി ആളുകൾ ഇവിടെ എത്താറുണ്ട്. മുൻപ് മലയാള സിനിമയുടെ ഒരുപാട് ഗാനങ്ങൾ ഇവിടെ ചിത്രീകരിച്ചിരുന്നു.

Since Kava was closed our next obvious choice was to visit south Malampuzha which is the reservoir area of the dam and also a beautiful village is placed. The breath taking view of western ghats in backdrop and huge reservoir in the middle of forest is mesmerising.
This is a perfect one day tour option if you are in Palakkad. Kava is also a beautiful sunset spot.
