My Dear Viewers, I am sure most of you have heard of route Shimla to Manali. But few of you have heard about this route which is via Jalori Pass. Jalori Pass is situated at an altitude of 10, 282 Ft. or 3,334 Meters. Jalori Pass is around 150 Km away from Shimla and 114 Km from Manali. The drive to Jalori Pass is absolutely beautiful and calm. Since, hardly any tourist traffic travel via this route, so you will fine very less tourist traffic. Most of the traffic on this route is local. The roads are very narrow but not dangerous. Most of the time the challenge comes when you have to give way to the oncoming traffic and it gets more challenging when you have a bus in front of you.


This is not the first time I have been at Jalori Pass. I did this route back in 2010. And after 9 years I see a big difference. The roads are much better now. We started early morning from Manali on a cold and calm morning in October. The drive is going to be long and tiring because we had plans to drive till Chandigarh after reaching Shimla. Though the video is made till Shimla. I had earlier made few videos from Chandigarh to Shimla in the past already so I wasn't interested making another one.
