After 50 years of tranquility, Indonesia's Mount Agung is ready to erupt. And some Indonesians will try anything to try and stop it.
More than 140,000 residents have left the island of Bali, where the volcano is located. But as thousands evacuate, some are actually getting closer. A local priest walked to the 10,000-foot-high summit, so that he could pray that the mountain wouldn't erupt from its top.
Thousands of earthquakes have been recorded on the mountain. Officials have raised the alert to the highest possible level. Residents are warned to stay at least seven miles away. With that, they can at least pray for the volcano in safety.
