NSW Coronavirus Update: Overnight, NSW Health identified another 60 COVID-19 cases linked to the outbreak that occurred at the The Argyle House nightclub in Newcastle.

So far, 84 people linked to the nightclub have tested positive to COVID-19. NSW Health says a number of the cases are likely to be the Omicron variant.

Across NEW South Wales, the state recorded another 536 new cases of COVID-19. There were 9 new cases confirmed with the Omicron variant, and NSW Health says more cases of the variant are expected as results of genomic testing today.
