Chur is the capital and largest town of the Swiss canton of the Grisons and lies in the Grisonian Rhine Valley..Chur is the only city in Switzerland with its own winter and summer sports region, conveniently linked with the city by means of an aerial cableway. Chur is surrounded by mountains and lies in a basin only 600m high. The historic old town Chur is very much worth a visit.
