Our Great Continental Divide motorcycle trip is a journey full of adventure with amazing roads, scenery & camping. The Continental Divide extends from the Bering Strait located between Alaska and Russia, to the Strait of Magellan, a channel linking the Atlantic and Pacific oceans between the mainland tip of South America and Tierra del Fuego island. On this 21st installment of our amazing GCD adventure, we wake up at O'Haver Lake Campground 0:30 just south of Salida, Colorado after having ridden for over 250 miles the day before and arriving at the campsite well after dark. An early rise and a beautiful day is inspiring us to ride far and steady through the Colorado trail hoping to gain some miles and time. After a nice breakfast at the Hunger Trailer in Salida 3:07, we embarque on our journey, however we decide to bypass the much dreaded Marshall Pass section of the trail which we had done a couple of years before during our Trans America Trail adventure, and which proved to be one of the most difficult section we had ever done on a motorcycle off road 4:18. Nonetheless, the trail becomes a breathtaking beauty as we advance southwards towards New Mexico. Passing through amazing forests 7:09, rock formations 8:37, canyons 9:49 and just a constant bombardment of the visual palette that just won't stop from keeping us in awe the entire time 11:03. After a very nice and fulfilling day on the saddle we finally make it to our destination for the day - the town of Del Norte 14:35 where we stumble upon a brewery named Three Barrel Brewing Company 15:08, and where we spend over 3 hours just enjoying ourselves before calling off the day. Thank you for watching and Ride On Amigos!!!
