One of our favorite memories was when I took the three oldest girls to a tiny town in Austria, where we rented a raft and headed down the Vltava River into the Czech Republic. Our destination was the town of Česky Krumlov. Every so often we would come upon a small waterfall or, in this case, the spillway near a power plant. It was great fun to glide through the morning mists past onion domed churches or old castles.
