*????♂️ Join me on a picturesque bicycle tour through Salzburg,* where history, nature, and stunning panoramas converge. As the birthplace of Mozart, Salzburg is renowned for its charming city center, but its cycling paths also offer a delightful escape into the heart of nature.
Tour Highlights:
*Nonntal District:* Our journey begins in Nonntal, one of Salzburg’s oldest districts. Nestled beneath the imposing Hohensalzburg Fortress, Nonntal boasts a rich history spanning over 2000 years. Let’s marvel at the magnificence of this ancient fortress as we set off on our adventure.
*Hans-Donneberg Park:* Pedaling through this serene park, we’ll enjoy the lush greenery, where local relax in their free time.
*Almkanal Trail:* Following the Almkanal, we’ll wind our way through enchanting forests and meadows. The gentle flow of the river creates a soothing backdrop for our ride, making it truly enjoyable and perhaps catch a glimpse of local surfers riding the waves along the Almkanal. ????????♂️
*Hellbrunn Palace:* Our next stop is the historic Hellbrunn Palace, once the summer residence of local rulers during the 18th and 19th centuries. I will see the palace from the distance and return back to the city center.
*Hellbrunner Alley:* Cycling back to Nonntal along the Hellbrunner Alley, we’ll be treated to various perspectives of the fortress, charming castles, and old residences. The scenery is nothing short of captivating.
