Salzburg, the birthplace of Mozart, is another perfect day trip from Munich, Germany since it's also included in the Bayern ticket! We spent the day visiting various Sound of Music filming sites such as Mirabell gardens and St Peter's Abbey, walking around the city, going up to Hohensalzburg fortress, and eating some delicious pretzels. Salzburg has so much to be discovered, so fitting everything into just one day feels impossible, but we tried our hardest.
