Hallo SALZBURG!
-SALZBURG means “salt mountain”, is the fourth largest city in Austria.
-It is one of the country's most popular tourist destinations alongside Vienna. With spectacular Alpine landscapes, enchanting culture and a location just next to the German border.
-The Sound of Music was filmed at various locations in and around Salzburg, including Leopoldskron Palace, Frohnburg Palace, the Mirabell Palace Gardens, the old town of Salzburg, and the basilica in Mondsee
- Such a gorgeous city, walk by the river, climb the hill to see views of the
whole city and see the gardens in the old
palace and walk through the narrow alleys
to Mozart's birthplace.
- The famous Mozartkugel is found in Salzburg. Paul Fürst, a master confectioner, invented the Mozart chocolate balls for the upcoming 100th anniversary of the death of Mozart in 1891. Mozart chocolate is made up of Marzipan, Nougat, and pistachio, covered in chocolate. The original Mozartkugel is wrapped in blue and silver tinfoil.
-We have such beautiful cities in the world and Salzburg is one of them.
