The webinar is organized in occasion of the 39th edition of the SIBF, entitled 'The World Reads from Sharjah' and is dedicated to literary translations from Arabic into Italian and vice versa.
The guest speakers, Isabella Camera d'Afflitto and Ezzeddine Anaya (both from the Sapienza University of Rome) will offer, respectively in Italian and Arabic, an insight into the principal works translated, the main areas of common interest between the two literatures and also the difficulties, both linguistic and cultural, for those translating from and into the two languages involved.
